How we tested
In a controlled, third-party microbiology lab, ABRAHAM, JAMES used standardised carpet samples inoculated with known concentrations of common allergens and bacteria. The same samples were then cleaned using ABRAHAM, JAMES’s HCE process — and in parallel, the same soils were cleaned using a leading steam-cleaning method for direct comparison. Allergen and bacteria counts were measured before and after each clean to calculate removal and reduction rates.
The results were clear: HCE removed substantially more allergens and reduced far more airborne bacteria than steam cleaning, while using a fraction of the water.
